We have a few pioneering poles available to hire – £10 per event. NOTE: you will need your own rope

Campsite badges are also available to buy – £1.50 each – image on the campsite page

If you look at your dates and the calendar is showing them as already booked, please check the legend which shows the colours of the bookings to see whether the original bookers are prepared to share the site eg if a date is RED it means sharing is not possible

If you wish to book the site for an evening or a day time activity without any camping, please double tap the date you require until it changes to orange, you should then be able to book on the form below.

We are aware that there have been issues with some of you trying to book. We believe we have resolved these, but should you get a notification saying nonce validation failed then please try refreshing your page and starting again. If you are unfortunate, and you get the notification again, then you can try clearing your cache on your device. If all of this fails, then please email me: camping@bostonscouts.org.uk

Please note: We have had to put a camping deposit of £10 per event in place alongside our refundable cleaning deposit of £20. The £10 camping deposit will be deducted from your final invoice and the cleaning deposit will be returned following a successful site inspection after your event. (If paying by BACs, we may need your account details to enable this; if paying by cheque, we will destroy it unless you include an SAE for it to be returned), These deposits are due within 14 days of your booking and your final balance is due 7 days prior to your event.

See below for the calendar and booking form – when choosing your dates, click on the first date of your camp, and then click the last date – this should highlight all the dates between.

NOTE: whilst we provide hand towel, toilet paper is NOT supplied; also, please be aware of the legend showing availability ie if a date is purple then it is already booked and sharing is NOT possible.

DISCLAIMER

Notice to all users: our campsite is open woodland. It is not fenced and therefore not a secure site. Although we lease the land, which makes it private property, we are bordered on two sides by publicly accessible woodlands while the rest of the site is bordered by a public road. This means that unauthorised public access does take place even though we have signs stating it is private property.

Please bear in mind that the overall responsibility for those using the site falls with the event leader. If you speak to any unauthorised people onsite, please be courteous and simply request that they leave site. Should they become confrontational, ring the police and let us know of any incidents.

We are working on plans to install fencing and a more secure gate, but this will take time and considerable expense.
