Several young people earned the highest award they can achieve at their section, and some young leaders received their Young Leader Belt which signifies them having completed all their training modules and missions. Wood beads were presented to Sian Gibson of 3rd Boston which shows she has completed all the training for her role within Scouts. Long service awards were also handed out to several of the adult volunteers within Boston District. The final adult award was presented to Charlie Chester, who was so surprised to receive her Medal of Merit. Awarded for outstanding service. It implies keen, conscientious, imaginative and dedicated service over a sustained period, of at least 12 years duration (exceptionally 10).
