As many of you may have been aware, we have been fundraising hard to be able to extend our fencing all the way around our site. We are delighted to let you know that this has now been completed. The site is now fully fenced and there shouldn’t be any dog walkers or hikers coming through the campsite. This means that the site is much more secure for the young people and their volunteer supporters to run events at our site.
Thank you to everyone who donated to our fundraising efforts – it really is appreciated by all Boston District Trustees and Volunteer Teams as well as parents of the young people who visit our site. Pictured below is the new gate that was erected first and is now set back into the campsite allowing drivers to pull in (with a trailer if applicable) rather than having to pull up on the side of the road to open the gate.
